Mike Johns is a “Futurist”, he sits at the intersection of technology and pop culture. Johns serves as Founder of Digital Mind State a strategic marketing company, he founded in 2010 that anchors brands and talents. Johns works with entertainers, athletes to models to develop brands, forge partnerships, and cultivate successful careers. Notable clients include entertainers Fivio Foreign, former Undisputed Heavy Weight Champion Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Romeo Miller, Ice Cube’s Big 3 Basketball, Sophia The Robot, international cover model Myla Tkachenko. Additionally, in 2023, Johns partnered with his friend Jian Lin to form JirenAI an innovative bot venture that aims to improve daily operations, connect with clients, and increase sales. Beyond his work in the private sector, Johns is a committed diversity, inclusion and equity in the tech and entertainment sector and advocate for youth empowerment and education. He is the founder of We Are Digital, headquartered in Las Vegas which empowers the BIPOC community nationwide in STEAM, Digital Literacy, and Future of Work. We Are Digital is a 501 © 3 non profit organization, that promotes education, education, and empowerment for young people around the world. Recently Johns became the first in America to teach Future Literacy on a college level. He is the first futurist and instructor at University of Nevada Las Vegas. The world of work is changing exponentially fast. Artificial intelligence and automation will make this mega shift as significant as the mechanization in prior generations of agriculture and manufacturing. While some jobs will be lost, and many others created, almost all will change. Will Robots Take My Job?! Microsoft research has indicated that if broadband access was counted more precisely, the number of Americans without it would be closer to 163 million people. We have a vast number of households lacking Internet access, and the spread of the coronavirus has only increased the importance of digital skills. 5% of my proceeds goes to support I Am Digital a 501 (C) (3) non profit organization I created focused on providing Internet access, education, digital literacy, STEAM learning and the future of work skills for the global underserved markets .
